ELECTRONIC ENGINEER

Location: Mantova / Mantua

Role

Reporting to the Electric and Control System Department Manager, the appointee will

• Contribute to the design of new mobile and stationary refrigeration units

• Analyse the SW platforms available to operate and control the units

• Define the SW architecture to manage new functions and features

• Issue specifications to external contractors

• Oversee SW improvements and debugging

• Collaborate with the Laboratory Testing Team and other teams nationally and internationally

• Take part in periodic training and meetings at national and international / European level

Candidate Profile

• University degree-holder in Electronic / Mechantronic Engineering, IT or similar

• Good spoken and written English

• Experience in C, C++ and microprocessor software design is the main request

• Knowledge of 12C and SPI protocols appreciated; also CANBus, ModBus

• Knowledge appreciated of IoT interfacing protocols: MQTT, API

• Knowledge appreciated of the main embedded architecture for wireless connectivity

• Knowledge appreciated of electronic components and signal-processing theories

• Knowledge appreciated of the norms governing SW Quality in the automotive environment

• Interested in developing professional competence and experience
