LABORATORY ENGINEERS / TECHNICIANS

Location: Mantova – Lombardia

Role 

Reporting to a Laboratory Manager, the appointees will 

• Test product functionality

• Contribute to the improvement of lab testing procedures, methodology and equipment

• Agree test specifications and output; identify potential problems and propose countermeasures

• Allocate resources in terms of facilities, equipment and personnel for the testing

• Supervise and direct test preparation and execution

• Supervise results analysis and produce reports on testing status and results

• Participate in Design Review Meetings

• Take part in periodic training and meetings at national and international / European level

Candidate Profile

• High-school technical qualification / University degree-holder in Mechanical, Electric, Energy, Thermodynamic Engineering or similar

• Good spoken and written English

• 3-5+ years of relevant practical experience in a similar role

• Experience from within the refrigeration, air-conditioning or heating sector appreciated

• Interest and experience in Project Management

• Knowledge and use of data-acquisition software such as LabView, TRNSYS, Matlab is a plus

• Interest in energy-conversion systems

• Flexible and willing to help coach, train and mentor junior engineers and colleagues

• Hands-on approach and able to react efficiently to changes and challenging issues

• Willing to become involved in different technical tasks as the team and R&D centre expand

• Analytical mindset

• Good communication skills

• Interested in developing professional competence and experience
